Area Points is an online resource helping you to find points of interest around the world and discover new travel destinations and things to do.
The site is very simple in how it works. By first visiting the home page you will notice it presents you with the search box which you can type pretty much anything location related to generate results.
You can search by city for example; Edinburgh and it will return a list of nearby businesses which when clicked on will focus your search even more directly onto the business or attraction listing other nearby businesses and attractions. This is really handy for planning a trip and by loosely searching you can discover new things easily.

At the bottom of the page this process is reversed. There is a scrolling list of pre-loaded attractions like the Hoover Dam and by clicking into this you will get presented with a map, pictures, website details, phone numbers, opening hours, and of course user reviews.
